1. What we collect
- Account data: phone number, optional email, display name, password (hashed).
- Profile data: avatar, bio, language preferences, learning goals.
- Activity data: posts, comments, reactions, messages, live streams.
- Learning data: words learned, quiz scores, spaced-repetition history.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser user agent, session identifiers.
- Payment data: transaction records and amounts. We do not store raw card details.
2. Why we collect it
To operate your account, personalise learning, moderate content, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the platform.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers under contract (hosting, payment gateways, email delivery).
- Authorities when required by law.
- Other users, only for the parts you make public (posts, profile, live chat).
4. Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active, and for a limited period afterwards as required for legal, tax, and security reasons. Aggregate statistics are retained indefinitely without personal identifiers.
5. Your choices
- Update your profile and preferences from Settings.
- Manage notification and marketing preferences from the same page.
- Request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion from Privacy & consent.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including password hashing, encryption in transit, and regular audits. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
7. Children
The platform is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
